Comparing travel power banks: charging power, capacity and cables

Dutch original

UGREEN Nexode 10,000 or 12,000 mAh for travelling? The 10,000-mAh version has an integrated USB-C cable and lists 45 W USB PD; the 55 W in its name applies to compatible Xiaomi phones. The 12,000-mAh version lists up to 100 W output. Start with your device’s charging profile, then compare capacity, cables and recharging. These are documented examples plus a separate Anker Prime supplement, not a market-wide ranking or our own product test.

Zovif has not personally tested these models. Specifications come from the manufacturers; suitability assessments are editorial interpretations. Manufacturer references here are not affiliate links. Check current prices and availability with the supplier.

UGREEN: manufacturer information

The previous shopping link was removed because it was not established that the offered item matched the UGREEN version discussed. The link below leads directly to manufacturer information for the Nexode 12,000 mAh / 100 W. Compare item number, charging profiles and supplied accessories before buying. This is a normal manufacturer link, not an affiliate link. The Dutch source records a link check on 20 October 2026; manufacturer data does not establish which version another shop supplies.

UGREEN Nexode 10,000 mAh 55 W — Dutch documentation

The Dutch UGREEN page identifies PB727, 10,000 mAh and an integrated USB-C cable. Its 55 W maximum applies to supported Xiaomi phones; UGREEN lists up to 45 W for USB Power Delivery. Do not compare 55 W as universal USB-PD power. The manufacturer lists 36 Wh; check the label on the exact unit. Consider this example if its built-in cable and supported phone profiles suit your trip. That does not automatically make it the smallest, fastest or cheapest. Also check an alternative charging route if the integrated cable cannot be used.

UGREEN Nexode 12,000 mAh 100 W — European documentation

The European product table identifies SKU 35526, 12,000 mAh and up to 100 W output. Higher nominal capacity does not establish a measured difference in phone charges. This European document confirms neither Dutch stock nor the contents of a local retail bundle. Higher output may matter if your laptop accepts the appropriate profile. For a phone alone, first check whether extra power helps. Include the required wall charger and cable in your whole travel kit.

The Dutch source records a manufacturer-data check on 28 October 2026. These are not measured charging results. Scroll the table sideways on narrow screens. Keep power delivered to your device separate from input used to recharge the bank. The EU description lists 65 W input for the 12,000-mAh version; this does not establish the complete port-sharing scheme. For your laptop and simultaneous use, check profiles, cable requirements and model-specific power allocation. A single-port maximum does not show what remains when charging a phone and laptop together. These documents are not Zovif measurements of speed, efficiency, heat, lifetime or reliability.

Which trade-offs suit your trip?

For a phone and daily backup, compare supported profiles, portability and cable convenience. For laptop work, check the required profile and power first, then stored energy and ways to recharge the bank. These are buying criteria, not a measured recommendation of either model. Include maintenance, cable replacement and local service. Before buying, check the exact model/SKU, manual, accessories and current sales terms. A marketing maximum alone is insufficient.

Flying: check the operating airline

KLM permits up to two power banks and prohibits using, charging or storing them in overhead bins on board. Check the Wh label and each operating airline’s current limits and permission rules.

Anker Prime A1340: power by port combination

The Anker Prime A1340 has 27,650 mAh, two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. The 250 W maximum is for all three outputs together. For one USB-C output, the official quick-start guide lists up to 28 V × 5 A: 140 W. Your laptop and cable must support that profile. The Dutch source checked the documentation on 28 October 2026.

Recharging through two ports

For recharging through two ports, the German product page additionally claims 170 W input through both USB-C ports. The quick-start guide gives no combined input maximum. Keep that claim separate from 140 W per USB-C input. The stated recharge times have not been tested here.

The complete travel kit

For everyday phone use, the smaller UGREEN example’s integrated cable may be more convenient. For several devices, the table helps assess shared power. Stated capacity proves no laptop runtime. Compare weight, cables, wall charger and supplied items too. For flying, the Wh label and carrier rules remain decisive. A final Dutch price and retail bundle have not been checked. The German Anker page lists a 60-cm 140-W USB-C cable, travel pouch and manual; confirm what your seller actually includes.
