First define what you want to create
The EOS R50 and ZV-E10 II are APS-C cameras with interchangeable lenses. Sony’s ZV-E10M2 is the second generation; specifications of the older ZV-E10 cannot be applied without checking.
The lens is part of the decision
Canon uses RF/RF-S lenses and Sony uses E-mount. Include a suitable lens in the system price; older Canon EF/EF-S lenses require a suitable adapter, and EF-M lenses do not fit the R50.
More megapixels do not prove a better photo
Canon specifies 24.2 and Sony 26.0 effective megapixels, but these figures do not prove a visible quality difference. The R50’s viewfinder is a more concrete selection criterion for anyone shooting at eye level.
Video needs a complete workflow
The R50 offers 4K up to 30p; the Sony also offers 4K up to 60p under the applicable recording conditions. No independent measurements of image quality, heat build-up or continuous recording time were carried out by us for this comparison.
Compare body with body and kit with kit
A lens shown in a picture does not prove that an offer includes a kit. Compare the body code, lens code, battery, charging equipment and memory card before attributing a price difference to the camera itself.

Dutch retailer terms and versions
Does Canon Netherlands item 5811C003 include a lens?
The Dutch Canon Store identifies 5811C003 as a black EOS R50 body. Treat this version as a body-only offer and budget separately for a suitable lens.
What shipping threshold does the Dutch Canon Store use?
The Dutch delivery page states free standard delivery from €30 and €1.99 below that amount. Check the checkout total and any exceptions; these terms do not automatically apply to an Amazon.nl seller.
Does the Dutch Canon Store also deliver to Belgium?
According to the store terms, a Canon Store only delivers within that store’s country. For a Belgian delivery address, check the relevant local store and offer.
Are two to three working days guaranteed at Canon Netherlands?
Canon gives two to three working days as a target for most orders. Delivery to remote areas and islands may take longer; check the confirmed time when ordering.
Why are two model codes listed on Sony’s Dutch specifications page?
Sony groups ZV-E10M2 and ZV-E10M2K on the same Dutch specifications page. Determine the contents of a Dutch retailer offer from the exact item code and stated box contents, rather than the family name alone.
Considerations before buying
The EOS R50 suits anyone wanting an electronic viewfinder; the ZV-E10 II deserves consideration when 4K at higher frame rates is needed. A body alone is not a complete purchase for someone without a compatible lens. Check the Canon R50 body and package contents alongside the total Sony system price.
Sources and updates
On 4 November 2026, the Dutch Canon and Sony product pages and the Canon delivery information and store terms were consulted. No current price ranking was drawn up, as lens choice, accessories and retailer stock have not been fully established.
