According to GARDENA, the AquaZoom M waters up to 14 metres wide and the compact up to 12 metres. Both have a stated range of 3 to 18 metres; the shape of the area to be watered determines which setting is usable.

Measure the area in two directions
For the same area, length and width can differ considerably. The M’s additional maximum width only has value if it can be used within the area to be watered.
The area figures are manufacturer specifications. Achievable coverage with a particular tap, hose and water pressure has not been measured here.
Base, adjustment and maintenance
The compact has a round base and is positioned by the manufacturer for vegetable and flower beds. The M is positioned for lawns; no comparative measurement of stability or water distribution is available.
A path or patio within the spray area may limit the usable setting. The filter and spray openings require maintenance according to the model instructions.
Price for the same version
On 4 November 2026, the manufacturer’s Dutch product pages list €44.99 for 18708-20 and €51.99 for 18712-20, including VAT and excluding delivery. These are dated store observations; checkout prices and stock may change.

GARDENA Netherlands lists 18708-20 for the compact and 18712-20 for the M. A different code may indicate a different package or part.
Do the quoted Dutch manufacturer prices include delivery?
No. The product pages state that VAT is included and shipping is separate; a product price shown on its own is not a total price.
What does the Dutch GARDENA webshop charge for a small order?
The shipping information lists €6.99 for orders below the free-shipping threshold. This is GARDENA’s own condition and does not confirm Amazon.nl charges.
