Window vacs compared: Kärcher WV 2 Plus NP and WV 6 Plus

On paper, the Kärcher WV 6 Plus has more battery reserve and a larger dirty-water tank than the WV 2 Plus NP. The WV 2 kit discussed here includes a narrow suction nozzle; for small panes, kit contents may matter more than maximum runtime.

35 or 100 minutes: reserve for a cleaning session

Kärcher specifies 35 minutes of battery runtime and a 100 ml dirty-water capacity for WV 2 Plus NP. WV 6 Plus is listed at 100 minutes and 150 ml.

These manufacturer figures do not include the time needed for washing, changing accessories and emptying. A longer-lasting battery does not demonstrate better cleaning results from WV 6.

Narrow panes need a suitable nozzle

Both kits discussed include a 280 mm suction nozzle. The WV 2 Plus NP delivery list also includes a narrow 170 mm version; this WV 6 Plus kit does not.

Check the complete order number with the retailer. A similar bundle name does not confirm that the narrow nozzle is included.

Charging and indicators also differ

The stated charging time is 230 minutes for WV 2 and 170 minutes for WV 6. WV 6 displays remaining minutes; the WV 2 indicator warns when charging is needed.

Also consider the controls, access to the tank and availability of the correct replacement suction blade. We have not assigned our own scores for handling or streaking.

Compare prices using the same order number

Compare the unit, nozzles, charger, spray bottle and delivery as one package. A missing accessory can cancel out a lower purchase price.

A current complete UK price for these exact two Dutch kits has not been confirmed. UK model numbers and kit contents differ, so a currency conversion would not establish value for money.

UK model codes and included accessories

Is the UK WV 6 Plus the same kit as Dutch 1.633-741.0?

The UK manufacturer sheet identifies 1.633-751.0. It lists 280 and 170 mm working widths; the Dutch kit compared above only lists 280 mm. Compare the full code.

Which WV 2 Plus is listed on Kärcher’s UK page?

The page identifies 1.633-650.0, rather than the Dutch NP kit 1.633-661.0. Its bundle must be checked separately; the NP accessory list cannot simply be transferred.

Does Argos catalogue number 363/8730 identify a UK WV 6 model?

Argos support associates it with manufacturer number 1.633-751.0. The retailer catalogue number is not the Dutch manufacturer code.

Why does the Argos support FAQ give a different charging time?

The support FAQ says two hours, while the UK manufacturer’s sheet specifies 170 minutes for 1.633-751.0. The model-specific manufacturer specification is the basis here.

Does the Amazon.nl link confirm a UK charger and delivery?

No. This is a Dutch shop destination; the charger, UK delivery, final price in pounds and return arrangements have not been confirmed.

Which choice fits your use?
